Tuition FAQ’s
Do you offer tuition assistance?
Tuition assistance is not available for first year families. Families will apply for tuition assistance and it is offered on a very limited basis, usually based on special family financial circumstances. To that end, we encourage families to not count on tuition assistance as part of their enrollment decision.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, through a tuition management services company called FACTS. At MACA, you have the option to choose 1, 2, 10 or 11 month payment plans. You can also choose a direct debit or credit card to make payments. After setting up your account, you can pay in person at the school via cash, credit card or check a week before the due date.
It is essential to maintain a financially healthy and stable school. Traditionally, MACA has offered a 12-month payment plan in addition to the other plans, except for Seniors. Additionally, these payment plans began in August and ended in July, two months after school ended. In order to have better alignment with the school year and have all payments completed before the school year ends, the school will only offer an 11-month plan as noted below.
After the 2024-2025 school year, MACA will require all tuition plans to be completed before the last day of school. This will align all grade-level payment plan durations. Additionally, all payments will begin in the same month, regardless of the option chosen.
Multi-Year Payment Schedule Plan
Year | Maximum Monthly Payment Option | Beginning Month of all payment options | Ending Month of maximum payment options |
2023-2024 | 11 Months | July, 2023 | May 2024 |
2024-2025 | 12 Months | June, 2024 | May, 2025 |
Is there a discount for paying the full tuition?
Yes, we apply a $100 credit.
529 Savings Plan
529 educational savings plans now also allow savings for K-12 tuition expenses. The distribution for K-12 tuition is capped at $10,000 per year per child for expenses incurred beginning January 1, 2018.
