Mount Airy Christian Academy (MACA) is fully accredited with both the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA). MACA’s high school stands as an institute of substance as it applies time-proven educational strategies coupled with innovative technology, up-to-date resources, and a loving, professional staff. We do not teach common core, but instead emphasize rigorous academics and critical thinking resulting in consistent recognition by the National Merit Scholarship Program and ACT/SAT scores which highly exceed the national averages. Our curriculum includes Honors courses in English, math, science and history as well as college dual-enrollment options for advanced students. MACA boasts a 1:1 Chromebook technology program for all high school students, a program launched years before similar programs at most private and public schools. Our technology initiative includes the use of Moodle, one of the most widely-used learning management systems at colleges and universities. We provide career and college counseling and a structured program designed to assist each student in pursuing God’s plan for Life following high school. Weekly chapel services allow MACA’s high school to gather as God’s body and receive challenges and instruction from His word. The MACA Student Council Association provides leadership and service training for students interested in joining MACA’s administration in the planning processes of our school system. MACA exists to build a lifestyle of discipline and character in each student individually, and to do so in grace-filled environment.
