The MACA Guidance Office is available as a resource to secondary students and parents. This office handles transcripts, standardized testing, and college and career planning. A four-year plan for each student’s high school progress is discussed in ninth grade utilizing differential aptitude and interest surveys to ensure maximum advantage of the high school years for the student. This will be developed through consultation between the student, parents and MACA’s guidance staff. The Academic Dean and/or Registrar will assist the student in course selection as well as assessment of Honors course enrollment. This office also maintains records for graduation requirements as well as advises athletes regarding NCAA eligibility guidelines. The Registrar also assists with college planning including attendance at College Fairs, MACA campus visits by University admissions representatives, and college visits.
