The Learning Edge is a resource program that offers educational support services to MACA students, regardless of their learning styles. The director works hand-in-hand with teachers as a resource to promote optimum learning for all students within the classroom as well as provides small group or one-on-one instruction as necessary. Assistance and support are also provided to the parents throughout the process of diagnosis and intervention. Classroom accommodations are developed based upon testing performed by a certified neuropsychologist. MACA makes every effort to implement as many of these recommended interventions as possible. Additionally, we have teachers on staff certified in various intervention programs. Search and Teach, NILD Educational Therapy, as well as Spell Read are all available for an additional fee.
