Kelly Carmack, MACA’s new art teacher, is our newest Star Teacher! Carmack joined MACA this year after teaching art in the the public school system for six years. Carmack has a B.S. degree in K-12 Art Education with a concentration in two-dimensional art.
MACA is thrilled to have Carmack bring her great expertise in art to our fine arts program. Over the next few years, Carmack will be building a visual art scope and sequence from K-12 and providing our students with opportunities to express themselves visually and to uncover their artistic talents.
“Kelly has done a phenomenal job already,” said Susan Woolverton, Carmack’s lead teacher. “She has great expertise, a great attitude, and great classroom management. With limited time, she came into a full schedule and immediately had lesson plans and projects ready. She clearly knows how to teach well.”
We are thankful God brought Ms. Carmack to MACA! Thank you, Ms. Carmack, for joining the MACA family! You are a Star Teacher and we are grateful for you!
