2017 NHS Induction Ceremony

Today, Mount Airy Christian Academy held it’s 2017 National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) and  National Honor Society (NHS) Induction Ceremony. The Middle School National Junior Honor Society led by NJHS Advisor, Mr. Aaron Schuetz, welcomed four new members, eighth graders Thomas Conger and Kayla Esquievel as well as seventh graders, Kylie DesLauries and Yemi Ogunsola.
The National Honor Society, lead by Advisor Mrs. Katie Korn, welcomed ten new members: Senior: Reagan Welch, Juniors: Nora Doxzen, Ian Herdt, Emma and Jason Magnuson, Stephen Rice, Keirra Shaffer and Samuel Blake Sheaffer and Sophomores: Erin Eppich and Hannah GammellNew students were joined with current NJHS/NHS members and together took the following pledge, “I pledge myself to uphold the high purpose of the National Honor Society to which I have been selected; I will be true to the principles for which it stands; I will be loyal to my school, and will maintain and encourage high standards of scholarship, service, leadership and character.”

Congratulations to all the students that were recognized today. Your service, leadership, and character do not go unnoticed. Mount Airy Christian Academy is so proud of you!
